iOS has more polish to certain things, but they really have different strengths and weakness. I really don't think you can say one is better than the other, it all just comes down to what your looking for. The biggest disadvantage to android right now isn't android itself but the fact that the experience varies a lot from manufacturer to manufacturer. I'm on second android phone now and the only negatives two are all related to samsung screwing with things.
